what goes through you're
mind when you draw these?
because when I'm drawing
I don't have any thoughts,
ideas,or what the outcomes
even going to look like,
is that similar for you

For something like this one, it's pretty much the same as you. I start out with the eyes and then just go from there. I basically finish a section, and then try and envision the next part to see how it will look, and then so on.

yeah I also do that too.
but i never really plan
what it should look like
or how I should start out,
I just draw shapes all over
and when it makes it's form
I'll add the detail and color.

Not like I'm very keen with contemporary art, but if I can pretend to make a worthwhile opinion, I'd suggest you take a look at Trenton Doyle Hancock's work, which I'd argue is rather similar to your own; albeit, his is more conceptual.

By the way, do you aspire to do anything with art or illustration, or is this purely and reservedly a hobby?

Oh, nice suggestion. I've seen a couple of his works around the internet but never had a name.

Honestly, I have no idea. I really can't decide if I want to do this for a career or not (or if I even have the ability to do that). I'm going to keep doing it for now and hope I can figure it out.

Very Messy. Your work tells me that sharpies are a very conventional way to color traditionally without paint or colored pencils. Where do you think is the best place to buy them cheapest?

Sharpies are pretty great, unfortunately they aren't very good for coloring things traditionally because there isn't a suitable flesh tone. But for doing weird goofy stuff they are perfect.

Basically the best place to buy them is Walmart, not because of the price but because as far as I can tell, they are the only ones that carry the special colors too (aside from the package of primary color Sharpies, they also have packs like "80's blah blah blah" or something, and those are the packs that carry the lighter pinks, blues, and greens).

The time you put into your work amazes me.
